Adult ADHD Support Group

Clarity is exploring the possibility of starting a professionally facilitated Adult ADHD Support Group.

The group is intended to provide a supportive and confidential space for adults with ADHD to connect with others who may share similar experiences, develop a better understanding of ADHD, and explore practical strategies for managing everyday challenges.

Possible areas of discussion may include:

  • executive functioning and organisation
  • procrastination and difficulty getting started
  • attention and distractibility
  • emotional regulation
  • work, study and relationships
  • self-esteem and feeling misunderstood
  • practical strategies for everyday life
  • understanding ADHD assessment and diagnosis

At this stage, we are inviting expressions of interest to help us understand the level of demand and what prospective participants would find most helpful.

The group would be facilitated by Dr Julian Lim, Clinical Psychologist at Clarity.

Adults who have been formally diagnosed with ADHD, are currently undergoing assessment, or who are exploring whether ADHD may be relevant to their difficulties are welcome to register their interest.
